  • WILDCATS STUDENTS LEARN ABOUT THE HISTORY OF STAMFORD

    Children from across the local area came together to learn about the history of Stamford in a one day workshop led by Wildcats.

    The workshop, which formed part of the summer school activities on offer saw children take to Stamford to produce a mini film about the towns history.  The group visited a number of historic sights including the old Stamford Castle, Brazenose Knocker, Daniel Lamberts Grave and the old Stamford Hotel.

  • Wildcats entertain the Tour of Colour Run, Peterborough Arena on Friday 3rd June

    Wildcats Academy, based in Stamford and Peterborough will be involved in the Tour of Colour run event on Friday 3rd June 2016 at the Peterborough Arena (show ground).  Members of the Post 16 Academy will be singing solo songs as the runners arrive and also in between the warm ups.  The Wildcat Puma’s Dance Troupe will be putting on a display as runners finish the race at 8.30pm and 9.15pm.

  • WILDCATS PREPARE FOR SHOWCASE EVENT IN STAMFORD

    Wildcats Post 16 Academy, based in St Peter’s Hill and Broad Street are about to perform their first showcase event of the year.  The event, which is being held at Stamford Corn Exchange on Thursday 22nd October is the culmination of the first 6 weeks of work and consists of musical theatre and dance pieces performed by the Post 16 students.

    Wildcats Academy, based in Castle House, St Peters Hill are inviting members of the public to come and see the former Stamford Museum building on Saturday 5th September, 12noon - 3pm. The building has been brought back to life and is now ready to become a second home for the Wildcats – with the Post 16 Academy utilising the space during the week and a full programme of classes for children and adults during the evenings and weekends.

    A Stamford based theatre school received a business boost from Retail Entrepreneur Theo Paphitis.   Last week, Caz Dolby, founder of WIldcats tweeted Theo about her business during ‘Small Business Sunday’, an initiative set up by Theo that runs weekly.
