Exam results now in...36 pass, 73 Merit and 47 distinction grades in LAMDA Exams

Wildcats Theatre School, with classes around the Stamford area are celebrating after a brilliant set of exam results this summer.

A total of 156 students took exams this year, of which 120 achieved Merit or Distinction grades.

The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art examinations (LAMDA) are taken by students aged 4 - 19 years attending the theatre school.  The younger students take Introductory exams - teaching confidence, performance skills, expression and public speaking.  Older students take graded Musical Theatre exams.  All the children practice each week in their Wildcats classes, developing their technical knowledge as well as their confidence and performing abilities.

A total of 156 students took exams this year, of which 120 achieved Merit or Distinction grades. 

Paige Briggs, age 7 from Uffington achieved a distinction in her Grade 1 Musical Theatre exam, whilst Annabel Otterburn, age 11 from Manthorpe and Isobel Thompson, age 12 from Market Overton achieved a distinction in Grade 4.  Sofia Burrows, age 6 from Carlby also achieved a distinction in her Preliminary examination as did Olivia Winham, age 6 from Baston.Matthew King, age 10 from Hampton achieved a distinction in Grade 1 Musical Theatre, Jade Marumahoko, age 10 also from Hampton. Olivia Kamau, age 11 from Peterborough also achieved a distinction in Grade 3.
