Wildcats Post 16 Academy, based in St Peter’s Hill and Broad Street are about to perform their first showcase event of the year.  The event, which is being held at Stamford Corn Exchange on Thursday 22nd October is the culmination of the first 6 weeks of work and consists of musical theatre and dance pieces performed by the Post 16 students.

Throughout the evening there will be performances from BTEC Musical Theatre, BTEC Dance and the HND students which are all assessed as part of their studies.  The students are all studying full time with the school and hope to go onto careers in teaching and performing.

The event is being attended by the Mayor of Stamford and his consort, Principal of New College Stamford and the local media alongside parents, relatives and friends of the Post 16 students.

Caz Dolby, Director of Wildcats said ‘The event is ideal for any students and parents who are thinking about coming to the Academy in the coming years.  It gives people the chance to see what Wildcats is all about and the levels of dedication and commitment exhibited by our students.’

Tickets are available online by going to or in person at the Wildcats office in Stamford.  There will also be limited tickets available on the night on a first come first served basis.
